later than Friday 29th April 2022 (11:59pm AWST).
SiREN is offering regional and remote travel grants to attend our 2022 Symposium. These grants have been kindly funded by the WA Department of Health Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus Program to increase the accessibility of the Symposium to people from regional and remote areas of Western Australia.
About the grants
The regional and remote travel grants program is open to anyone in regional and remote Western Australia who has an interest in sexual health and blood-borne viruses. The program provides some financial assistance to those who would otherwise be unable to attend.
Am I eligible?
The grants are open to everyone working or volunteering in the field of sexual health and blood-borne viruses.
Applicants must live in regional or remote Western Australia, as defined by the WA Country Health Service Boundaries.
Applicants must be available to attend the Symposium if their application is successful.
Applicants must submit an abstract to present at the Symposium. Abstract mentoring and other assistance are available for applicants who have limited experience in writing abstracts. Please note that the award of a travel grant does not guarantee the abstract will be accepted.
Application forms must be completed in full. Incomplete applications cannot be considered.
